The Hebrew word for ‘glory’, kavod literally means ‘heaviness’ or ‘weight’. The kavod only descends on that which is holy (kadosh) and corresponding to God’s design. It causes us to prostrate before our Creator. The square space symbolises the New Jerusalem with its twelve gates and twelve foundations that will descend from heaven (Revelation 21-22).
